A news reporter from Channel 5 News showed up. Everyone stepped back while she talked into the camera.

“This is Joy Johnson, reporting live. Mysterious tracks have appeared again at our local beach. This has happened off and on for the last thirty years.”

“To provide possible answers,” Joy Johnson said, “we have Dr. Andrew Terrance with us today. Dr. Terrance writes books about strange creatures.”

Joy Johnson held the microphone for Dr. Terrance.

“These imprints are deep and long. I don’t think they were made by a human.”

“Who do you think made them?” Joy Johnson asked.

“We have to look at the evidence,” Dr. Terrance answered. “This creature has three toes. Just like many dinosaurs.”
